Thank you very much for the hearty welcome. We are greatly honored by the heartfelt welcome, though we have come for a short stay. We are so happy that you all still remember us.

But more important now is the APPLE !  An apple a day may not keep you healthy wealthy and wise ( as it won't certainly keep the doctor away )  ! 

But you may now know :  Three  apples have changed the world. The one offered to Adam, the one that fell on Newton , and the one of Steve Jobs.

Vidyaarambham

വിദ്യാരംഭം കരിഷ്യാമി

വിദ്യാര്‍ഭവതു മേ സദാ 

Vidyaarambham is all about initiating a person into a new vidya (knowledge and skills).  This initiation may be for a child, young, or old. For a child, someone else may initiate the learning process - auspiciously !  That's what you saw in the previous post.
But, that's not all about Vidyaarambham. Everyone , yes everyone, gets an opportunity to get initiated to learning a new vidya.  If this is right, you should have initiated yourself into something new today. Did you do that ?

Today, our neighboring temple - the famous "Easwary Amman Kovil" -  is buzzing with the "Vidyaarambham" of  hundreds of tiny tots.  Here, you may see a few shots from the temple, today morning.

Pooja celebrations

Pooja celebrations are associated with "Aayudhapooja" and "Vidyaarambham". Almost all SRAians celebrate Pooja, with or without the associated rituals.

expired on 26 Sept (Monday), at her residence (Sivaranjini, SRA-50).
